Jake Peavy Looks to Lease His San Diego Ranch

Jake Peavy, the former San Diego Padres ace pitcher and 2007 Cy Young Award winner, is looking to rent his Black Mountain Ranch for the summer months.  He is asking a cool $12,000 per month.

Peavy and his wife, Katie, purchased this beautiful property in July 2008 for $3.5 million.  The Mediterranean-style home, which was built in 2009, sits on more than a half-acre of land and is located near the Santaluz Golf Course community.

It includes a patio with outdoor kitchen, a putting green, pool, spa, and sports court. The 7,000 square foot home has a den, guesthouse, maid’s quarters, office, five bedroom and five baths, and the master suite has a private courtyard.  Also included is a four-car garage, and the home has decorative columns, exposed-beam ceilings, marble fireplaces and stone flooring.
