It appears the months of speculation are coming to an end for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association. Sacramento Mayor and former NBA star, Kevin Johnson, has all but conceded the fact that the Kings will be leaving his town by the end of April and will be moving to Anaheim to become the Royals, a bit ironic since the team’s original name was the Royals when they were located in first Rochester and then Cincinnati. The Royals will then play in the Honda Center, home of the Anaheim Ducks, and join the Ducks and Angels as professional teams in this Southern California city. Of course this move means fourteen players on the current roster are suddenly faced with relocation to a new city and all of the decisions that come with a major relocation. First and foremost players will have to sell their current homes in Sacramento and then look for a new residence in the Los Angeles area.
